Christmas and New Year’s are al little different this year. Unfortunately I will not be able to see my family, as they live in Switzerland and I live here in Vienna. Luckily I have my fianc\u00e9 and we’ll just do a Zoom-Christmas!<\/p>\n

New Year’s is something I haven’t celebrated in years, since I don’t drink alcohol, I don’t like to dance and I don’t really like being around a lot of people. So I’m not really going to feel a difference there!<\/p>\n

I know loneliness can feel especially bad during the holidays, so in case you have to be alone, why don’t you do something nice for yourself? Whatever that may look like: do a full relax-spa day and pamper yourself, cuddle up with a blanket and hot cocoa in front of the TV, try new recipes that you have wanted to cook for a long time, go see the Christmas lights or gift yourself some presents (wrapping and all!).<\/p>\n

Don’t be scared to call someone, if you just need to a hear a familiar voice. A lot of people like a little distraction on stressful days like these.<\/p>\n
