In a pandemic the whole wedding planning thing is not very easy, including hiring staff that may not be allowed to work on the day of. So today I am showing you a bridal makeup in pink with a lot of tipps, just in case you have to do your own makeup!<\/p>\n<h2>Video: Bridal Makeup in Pink<\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately my videos are only available in German at the moment. I will not bore you with the details today. The English Versions of the following blog posts will be available soon!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maike.at\/was-tun-bei-fettiger-haut-make-up-skin-prep\/\">Make-up Prep bei fettiger Haut<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maike.at\/was-tun-bei-trockener-haut-make-up-skin-prep\/\">Make-up Prep bei trockener Haut<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Step 2: Underpainting<\/h4>\n<p>I like to start by shaping the skin under the foundation with Highlighter and Contour. This is called underpainting. The result is a lot more natural than using this technique on top of your foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighter is applied on the highest points of the face: eyebrow bone, cheek bone, bridge of the nose, Cupid&#8217;s bow, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Contour is applied on all areas that you want to fall back a little. I use the Temptu Perfect Canvas 24-Hour Hydra Lock Foundation in my Air Compressor on about 90% of my brides. It has a semi-matte finish, is buildable and the most important factor on your wedding day: it lasts a really long time! You can also use it without an airbrush machine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.temptu.at\/temptu-pro\/makeup\/hydra-look\">Temptu Perfect Canvas 24-Hour Hydra Lock Foundation<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.temptu.at\/temptu-pro\/airbrush-systems\/airbrush-compressor\/www-pmh-beauty-at-temptu-air\">Temptu Air Compressor<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For brides with very dry skin I can recommend the Face Atelier Ultra Foundation or the Face Atelier Ultra Sheer Foundation, for a very sheer coverage.<\/p>\n<p>If you really want something very light, you can always just mix your favorite foundation with a bit of moisturizer to create a BB Cream.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 4: Concealer and Corrector<\/h4>\n<p>After you have put down a thin base, you can do a little bit of spot concealing. That just means to cover smaller spots with concealer instead of over a large area in the face.<\/p>\n<p>I use the correctors to neutralize colors like red and blue on the face.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite concealers at the moment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.madaracosmetics.com\/de\/shop\/makeup\/leuchtender-perfektionierender-concealer\">M\u00c1DARA The Concealer<\/a> (under the eye)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.danessamyricksbeauty.com\/product\/vision-cream-cover?attribute_size=Sample&amp;attribute_pa_shade=w05\">Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover<\/a> (rest of the face)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Step 5: Cream Bronzer<\/h4>\n<p>The main purpose of bronzer is to warm up the face. The color of a bronzer is not the same as a contour color. Bronzer usually has a warm undertone and a contour color is supposed to mimic shadows, so it&#8217;s often a cool undertone.<\/p>\n<p>I like applying bronzer in a 3-shape on the sides of the face and concentrate a little on the nose and neck as well.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite Bronzers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sephora.de\/p\/cheeks-out---freestyle-cream-bronze-P4063109.html\">Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out &#8211; Freestyle Cream Bronze<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Danessa Myricks Waterproof Cream Palette &#8211; Essentials<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sephora.de\/p\/matte-bronzer-486050.html\">MILK Matte Bronzer<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Step 6: Cream Blush<\/h4>\n<p>Cream Blush really has endless good options. I like placing it a little further back on the cheek and blending it upwards, towards the temples. This elongates the face a little. However like with the contour, highlight and bronzer placement, this depends on the face shape.<\/p>\n<p>A few nice pink cream blushes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sephora.de\/p\/lip-cheek-P3794009.html\">MILK Lip &amp; Cheek in Rose Poudr\u00e9<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beautybay.com\/de\/p\/rcma\/series-favourites-5-part-palette-cream-blush\/\">RCMA Series Favorites 5 Part Palette Cream blush<\/a> (all colors except Coral Kiss)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.danessamyricksbeauty.com\/product\/vision-flush\">Danessa Myricks Vision Flush in Tutu and Black Cherry<\/a> (for deeper skin tones)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tutorial: Eyes<\/h2>\n<h4>Step 7: Eyeshadow Primer<\/h4>\n<p>For a long lasting eye makeup, you need a good eyeshadow primer. Just blend it on your entire lid with your fingers or a brush.<\/p>\n<p>Favorite Eyeshadow Primers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.douglas.at\/de\/p\/3001003913\">Urban Decay Primer Potion<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.douglas.at\/de\/p\/3001037826\">Too Faced Shadow Insurance<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unfortunately I have not found a good, cruelty-free option for deeper skin tones yet, so I am still using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.douglas.at\/de\/p\/3001048894?variant=044788\">NARS Smudge Proof Tinted Eyeshadow Base Primer in Shade 3 or 4.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Step 8: Eyeshadow<\/h4>\n<p>A basic eye makeup look usually consists of 3-4 colors. For this bridal makeup pink you will need a light pink, a medium pink, a shimmer shade and something a little darker with a matching undertone (I used a cool brown).<\/p>\n<p>You can start with the lightest shade and blend it in or above your crease and your outer V.<\/p>\n<p>After that you can use the medium shade and place it in the same area, just a little further down and less blended.<\/p>\n<p>Now place the shimmer shade on the movable lid.<\/p>\n<p>You can concentrate the darkest shade on the outer V.<\/p>\n<p>For a pink eyeshadow look I can really recommend the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beautybay.com\/de\/p\/viseart\/rose-edit-eyeshadow-palette\/\">Viseart Rose EDIT Eyeshadow Palette<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also like using cream and liquid shades on the eyes. For example Danessa Myricks Colorfix in Romance or Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in Rose Gold.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Step 9: Eyeliner<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>For a natural bridal makeup in pink, I like using an eye pencil in between and under the lashes. This makes them look fuller.<\/p>\n<p>The best black eye pencils:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breuninger.com\/de\/marken\/charlotte-tilbury\/rock-n-kohl\/1000899734\/p\/?variant=bbae063e1ec640ad17efd0f09133f333\">Charlotte Tilbury Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Kohl in Bedroom Black<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.douglas.at\/de\/p\/3001003776?variant=825689\">Urban Decay 24\/7 Glide-On Pencil in Zero<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the waterline I like using nude pencils, to open up the eyes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breuninger.com\/de\/marken\/charlotte-tilbury\/rock-n-kohl\/1000899734\/p\/?variant=c9054535d5c18b6c4f3c1c0f4960ed88\">Charlotte Tilbury Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Kohl in Eye Cheat<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nablacosmetics.com\/en\/magic-pencil\/390-magic-pencil-light-nude.html?tab=21\">NABLA Magic Pencil<\/a> in Light Nude, Nude or Dark Nude<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Step 10: Mascara<\/h4>\n<p>If you use eyelash curlers before mascara, the eyes will automatically look bigger and more awake.<\/p>\n<p>You need to use a waterproof mascara (even if you think you&#8217;re not going to cry). Black is an all-time favorite, but if you are very fair you can also use brown if you like.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.douglas.at\/de\/p\/3001055728\">Urban Decay Perversion Waterproof Mascara<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bridal Makeup in Pink: Eyebrows<\/h2>\n<h4>Step 11: Eyebrows<\/h4>\n<p>Usually I keep the eyebrows pretty natural in a bridal makeup look. Unless the bride wants something stronger of course!<\/p>\n<p>I prime the eyebrows with a wax and comb them in the right direction. I prefer doing this with a translucent powder unless I need a little more coverage.<\/p>\n<p>Best translucent powder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beautybay.com\/de\/p\/rcma\/no-colour-powder\/\">RCMA No-Color Powder<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Step 13: Intensifying with powder products<\/h4>\n<p>Now you can make your makeup look more intensive by applying powder products if you want. That&#8217;s why I suggest to all my brides to use a liquid lipstick or a lip tint.
