So instead, the morning routine for my face is probably a bit more interesting.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"308\" data-end=\"311\">\n<h3 data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"341\">Morning Routine | Face<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"343\" data-end=\"529\">First off, this is <strong data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"394\">not a routine I do every day<\/strong>. I only do this extensive routine on myself or my clients when I have plenty of time and want to perfectly prep the skin for makeup.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"688\">I have combination skin: oily in the T-zone, otherwise very dry, with couperose, hormonal acne, and acne scars. So this routine is tailored to these needs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"894\">Don\u2019t be surprised\u2014I\u2019m currently using a lot of Rejuvi products. I\u2019m testing the brand because I want to offer it in my future cosmetic business. I am not sponsored by them (though that would be nice!).<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"899\">\n<h3 data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"924\">Step 1: Ice Water<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1050\">Normally, I skip this for clients unless it\u2019s a tired model or actress at 5\u202fa.m. But an ice water facial can work wonders!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1130\">I dip my face in a bowl of ice water for about 20 seconds. Benefits include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1240\">\n<li data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1160\">\n<p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1160\">Anti-inflammatory effects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1182\">\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1182\">Reduces puffiness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1240\">\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1240\">Improves skin texture, minimizes pores and fine lines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1334\">Bonus: it wakes you up completely\u2014no coffee needed! And it\u2019s essentially free, so why not?<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1339\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1363\">Step 2: Cleanser<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1515\">If you have very dry skin, you might not need to cleanse in the morning. I prefer to, because of my oily T-zone and long periods wearing FFP2 masks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1535\">Currently using:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1630\">\n<li data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1562\">\n<p data-start=\"1538\" data-end=\"1562\">Rejuvi Facial Cleanser<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1630\">\n<p data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1630\">Previously: Balea MED Ultra Sensitive Wash Gel (also very good)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1635\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1637\" data-end=\"1658\">Step 3: Massage<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"1820\">Facial massages are very popular right now\u2014from gua sha to rose quartz rollers. Will a massage eliminate deep wrinkles or acne scars? No. But it has benefits:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"1927\">\n<li data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"1895\">\n<p data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1895\">Improves circulation, increasing oxygen and nutrient delivery to cells<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"1927\">\n<p data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"1927\">Provides lymphatic drainage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1929\" data-end=\"2084\">These effects can improve wrinkles, acne, and scar tissue while giving a healthy glow. No, but it can help improve skin texture. Choose based on your skin type. I like to use cryo sticks at the end of my morning routine to lock in hydration, soothe the skin, and relax it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4330\" data-end=\"4484\">Initially tried Biologique Recherche cryo sticks (too expensive at \u00a3150), so I use Amazon dupes instead. Will share new affordable options on Instagram.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4486\" data-end=\"4489\">\n<h3 data-start=\"4491\" data-end=\"4515\">Step 10: Sunscreen<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4517\" data-end=\"4598\">Never skip sunscreen, even indoors near windows.
